What is Leadership?

“ Leadership is the ability to inspire others to follow your ideas based upon your vision and direction.

We must first lead ourselves if we are successful, others will follow. We can not lead by fear, we can however inspire those who follow the vision and direction to accomplish things they may not believed that they could.”

“Leadership cannot be taught it must be developed.                                                         Being a manager does not mean you have the ability to lead. A manager is someone that manages a bank account, budget, process, project etc.  A leader desires to grow and inspire others while giving them the credit for the success achieved”

What makes you successful?

“We can only be as successful as the team of people we lead.

Therefore, we must lead the team give the team proper direction.

We must teach the team as we learn from the team ourselves.

 

Success means you leave a positive mark and growth on someone or something. That positive mark continues a path of growth in the people, system, and organization long after we are gone. Leadership can be measured by the success we have developed our people or organization to achieve.
